PROGRAM LENGTH:
500 clock hours with two years’ experience in a salon or 750 clock hours with no experience.

INSTRUCTIONAL METHOD:
The program is presented through comprehensive lesson plans that reflect effective educational methods. Clinic equipment, implements, and products are comparable to those used in the industry. Subjects are presented by lecture, demonstration, and interactive student participation. Audiovisual aids, guest speakers, field trips, projects, activities, and other related learning methods are used for program delivery.

PROGRAM GOALS:
The objective is to train the graduate for an entry-level position as Instructor in the field of cosmetology. To ensure continued career success, the graduate will continue to learn new and current information related to techniques, communications skills and teaching methodologies to improve teaching skills.

Instructor 750 Hours (State required minimum hours in each subject)
